Creating the moving indents :

To make the moving indent of the spiral I originally made the spiral on photoshop and imported the file into premier. I then used the video effects rotation tool to add 6 key points where the image rotated by 180 degrees at every point. However making the image spin three times made the spiral jump backwards to forwards which didn't work as a smooth indent. Therefore the images key points were edited to two so that the spiral spun around once slowly creating a smoothly running indent.
